Individualized Support

At The Lonon Foundation, you and your family have access to free support from CCLSs. We use evidence-based interventions to help your family cope with a parent’s or caregiver’s cancer diagnosis.

  • doll connected to an IVDiagnosis Education
We work alongside caregivers to help families know how to talk with their children about their cancer diagnosis in ways they can understand, offering honest, age-appropriate language and guidance.
  • Medical Play & Preparation
Through medical play, preparation, and developmentally appropriate tools (including personalized preparation books based on your child’s diagnosis and medical play dolls) we help children process what’s happening and reduce fear around treatments.
  • Therapeutic Play
We use therapeutic play to give children a safe, natural way to express their thoughts and emotions, process their experiences, and build coping skills during an uncertain time.

Flexible Connection

Our CCLS connect in ways that feel most helpful to you in the way that works best for you and your family. Whether that’s by phone, email, text, or in person, we can support your family every step of the way.
