What is yoga?
Yoga is the “union” or coming together of mind (thoughts and feelings) and physical body. Yoga is about exploring and learning in a fun, safe and playful way.
Emotional Regulation - Children learn to be present in the moment while gaining a peaceful state of mind.
Relaxation Techniques - Breathing exercises & mindfulness activities helps reduce stress in a healthy way.
Self Esteem - Balance and flexibility can give young children a sense of personal empowerment.
Body Awareness - Poses helps children learn about their bodies & what they’re capable of doing.
Concentration - Different types of moves requires children to focus and work on their memorization skills.
Strength - Helps strengthen children’s growing bodies and helps them improve their flexibility.
Outlet for Expression - Provides a physical outlet for children to express themselves.
